About Frees and Threes
International Shooter Federation’s Frees and Threes Contests are establishing the sport of basketball shooting! The first event, Saratoga Frees and Threes, was held on Sunday, January 31, 2016 and followed in January of 2017 with Saratoga Frees and Threes II, both at the Saratoga Springs Rec Center in Saratoga Springs, NY.
At this time, we’re looking forward to 2023 with live-video online qualification events. These events will lead to on-site contests or tournaments for purse money, charitable contributions, scholarship offerings or other creative ways to award winning basketball shooters relative to age group. Given the impact of COVID-19 the on-site events are only hopeful at this time. If we must conduct all contests and tournaments via live video we’ll make it happen and look forward to updating you all with details.
